Dr. Faith Mashele is a Chartered Procurement & Supply Professional (MCIPS) and a Fellow (FCIPS) of the Chartered Institute of Procurement Supply (UK).
She is an Academic, who teaches in the areas of Sustainable Supply Chains and Operations Management, at the GIBS Business School in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dr Faith has extensive corporate experience that has been marked by diverse roles in the public and private sector that span the banking, consulting, development finance, education, and information technology industries. She gained formative experience at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and served as the Head of Procurement Centre of Excellence at Nedbank and was the Financial Director Expenditure at TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) .
Her track record as a Procurement Executive, has been widely recognised, earning her nominations for the 2023 Pan African Supply Chain Awards and the African Women in Supply Chain Association, including being placed in both the 2021 lists of Top 100 Most Influential Supply Chain Women in Africa and the TrussFDN’s 18 Exemplary Female Supply Chain Practitioners in Africa. A finalist for 2020 trailblazers awards and top 30 leading women in SADC by Strategic African Women in Leadership (SAWIL).
Dr Faith has recently been appointed as a Fellow of the Centre for African Management and Markets (CAMM).
She continues to leverage her diverse experience expertise to teach, be a keynote speaker at conferences and advise business as a strategist.
