Awards Entry Process
CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE. HONOURING IMPACT.
Do you know an individual who is a visionary, a strategist or a team-builder who is driving Procurement and Supply Chain forward? Or is this YOU?
Nominate yourself, a colleague or a mentor
who deserves to be recognised on the industry’s biggest stage.
Structured Journey
THE ENTRY PROCESS
We believe recognition should be based on real impact, credible evidence and a fair process. Every entry follows the same structured journey:
01.
ENTER
Submit your entry or nominate an individual for the category that best reflects their contribution to Procurement and Supply Chain.
Your entry should demonstrate:
- What the individual has achieved
- The impact they have made
- Relevant projects, initiatives or contributions
- Supporting evidence, data and metrics
- Why they stand out in their field
02.
INITIAL SCREENING
All entries are reviewed before going through to judging. We assess submissions for:
- Completeness: Is the required information provided?
- Evidence Quality: Is the entry supported by relevant and meaningful evidence?
- Basic Credibility: Are the claims, achievements and information credible and sufficiently supported?
03.
JUDGING
Eligible entries are assessed against the published category criteria using a consistent scoring framework. Judges consider the evidence provided and the demonstrated impact of the individual.
04.
VERIFICATION & AUDIT
To protect the integrity of the awards, the Awards Committee reserves the right to verify any submission. For selected top entries, this may include:
- Contacting referees
- Verifying achievements or outcomes
- Requesting additional supporting documentation
- Requesting clarification where required
- Validating metrics and data
05.
FINALISTS & WINNERS
Following judging and any required verification, finalists and winners are confirmed. Winners will be announced at the SP Leaders Awards on 12 March 2027.
Fair & Credible
GOVERNANCE & INTEGRITY
The SP Leaders Awards are built on four core principles:
TRANSPARENCY
Clear criteria. Entrants are assessed against defined category criteria, applied consistently across submissions.
CONSISTENT SCORING
One framework. Judges use a structured scoring framework to support consistent evaluation.
EVIDENCE-BASED EVALUATION
Show us the impact. Strong entries demonstrate achievements through relevant evidence, examples, data and measurable outcomes.
RIGHT TO AUDIT
Recognition must stand up to scrutiny. The Awards Committee reserves the right to verify or audit any submission.
AWARDS GOVERNANCE
ACCURACY MATTERS
When entering, please ensure that all information, metrics and data provided are accurate and verifiable.
This includes claims relating to:
Independent Audit & Verification
If an entry includes material claims that require clarification or verification, the Awards Committee may request additional evidence.
Please do not submit inflated, misleading or unverifiable information.
This process exists to protect the credibility of the awards and ensure that those recognised have earned that recognition through genuine achievement and impact.
