Bayan Hariri

Bayan A. Hariri serves as Senior Director, Procurement & Indirect Spend Management for Walmart International, where he’s responsible for leading the company’s international procurement Center of Excellence, Transformation and Strategy functions. With 10+ years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, his work spans Walmart’s strong local businesses around the world, implementing key procurement strategy and transformation efforts across Canada, the UK, Mexico and Central America, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Africa, India, China and Japan – driving greater SG&A leverage, strengthening collaboration and best practice sharing worldwide. Collaborating between technology and industry-leading strategy partners, Bayan’s team also serves as a hub for procurement higher education and industry thought leadership, developing course materials and instruction for leading Supply Chain programs. Prior to Walmart, Bayan led procurement programs in Canada in the finance and healthcare sectors, serving CIBC, ScotiaBank and Ontario Health. He earned his B.A. from York University and holds diplomas in Supply Chain Management and Procurement (SCMP) from The Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC)
