Andries Louw
Chief Director Transversal Audit and Risk Management, Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury
He has a National Diploma in Telecommunications Technology and B.Com qualification, also have an MBA degree from the University of Stellenbosch. In addition he a Certified Fraud Examiner, an Associate General Accountant and completed his articles in Telkom SA in 2002.
He has a career that stretches over more than 30 years, from managing the outsourcing of numerous divisions in Telkom SA, being the CFO of the Universal Services and Access Agency of South Africa, to being one of the founding employees of Neotel (Now called Liquid Telecom) from 2006 to 2010 as Head of Supply Chain Management.
He also worked as Business Unit Director at the DHL Technology division, before joining the Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury as Chief Director Transversal Supply Chain Office in 2012. Over the last 7 years, Andries worked as the Chief Director Transversal Audit and Risk Management unit, which includes the Provincial Forensic Audit directorate. He is a strong advocate of good governance and ethics, which he passionately believes remains the foundation to reform the Government sector.
Andries has been member of the Eastern Cape Regional committee early 2020 and were also awarded the ACFE Advocacy award in 2020, while participating as a speaker at both nation and regional ACFE events.
