Dr. Jones Mathew

Dr. Mathew has 30 years’ corporate and academic experience in marketing, sales, vendor development, and international procurement. He has worked in national and international firms. In 2010 he joined academics full time after acquiring a PhD from India’s premier international trade institute – Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. 

Dr. Mathew has published research on Brand Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Marketing, CSR, Services Marketing, and Travel and Tourism. He has authored popular and award winning international business school case studies on Indian companies in distribution management, brand marketing, and services marketing. 

Dr. Mathew is on the advisory boards of academic journals, research development committees of universities, and delivers research-based and industry-focused teaching in the classroom. 

Dr. Mathew writes frequently on marketing, operations, glocal supply chain and education for business and popular press outlets such as the Financial Express, Economic Times, Business Standard and Forbes. He is also a Board Member of Shiksha Prayas, an NGO working in the area of education for the underprivileged.
