At the helm of Anglo American Zimele, Anglo American’s enterprise, supplier, and youth development programme, Larisha Naidoo is leading the organisation to take enterprise development in Anglo American’s host communities to another level.
A chartered accountant by profession coupled with her solid understanding of mining communities, supply chain, finance, and the mining industry at a broader level – which she gained over a long period at Anglo American – will see Anglo American Zimele making a positive social impact in these host communities.
During her employment at Anglo American – which include senior positions at Kumba Iron Ore, and the Group Shared Services, Larisha has led and managed various teams and departments in setup, transition and business process optimisation through hard work and passion.
Her leadership style and influence has supported her to manage strategic projects which have brought value to the business and people involved.
Over the years, the team members that she has mentored have propelled in their careers which leaves her proud to have shared knowledge and upskilled them.
Larisha plans to continue to persevere her leadership abilities to grow and develop the businesses that Zimele is associated with and the people that she leads.
An activist through and through, she has a strong aspiration to end poverty in the world and through her work at helm of Zimele, she will continue to work for causes that support the lives of the underprivileged.
Her love for development is only rivalled by her passion for running, travelling and visiting new places.
