Ronald Mlalazi (FCIPS) is a qualified procurement professional. He achieved the internationally acclaimed Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Fellow status in 2012.
Ronald has conducted in-house Supply Chain Management training programmes for several companies and has lectured on the CIPS Education Programme (Levels 3 to 6) for over ten years, coaching and preparing students for the examinations.
Ronald is an assessor on various Seta-approved Supply Chain programmes.
In collaboration with the Public Administration Leadership and Management Academy (PALAMA), he developed, as the subject matter expert, the Strategic Sourcing content for the South Africa Public Sector Procurement and Supply Chain management programme. Furthermore, he trained the National Treasury senior Supply Chain managers on Strategic Sourcing. Recently, he oversaw the ‘Train the Trainer’ programme at PALAMA.
Ronald has extensive working experience in various business operations, ranging from manufacturing (FMCG, Battery manufacture, Construction and Foundry), to print media and telecommunications. He worked in different capacities within the procurement function for 11 years, rising from Purchasing Officer positions to Group Procurement Manager.
Currently, he is a branch committee member for CIPS Gauteng branch, responsible for education.
