Head of Energy Efficiency, GIZ ( German Development Agency)

Current role : Head of Energy Efficiency at GIZ ( German Development Agency) responsible for Municipal Energy Management System (MEMS), Public Streetlighting, Energy Performance Certificates in Buildings & Eco-Industrial areas.

Lucky has led critical initiatives in the field of energy efficiency as Head of Component for municipal energy management systems. He is currently completing an MBA, coupled with a BCom Hons in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor’s in Management majoring in Procurement and Financial Management. His extensive experience and expertise became evident during his tenure as the Lead Project Manager for the Energy Efficiency Streetlighting Retrofit Project within South African German Energy Program (SAGEN), where he made significant contributions for over six years. Lucky has a diverse range of experience, with a career spanning over 17 years, having worked on numerous assignments amongst other companies EDI Holdings, Liberty Life, De Beers and Anglo American in capital procurement, contracts and vendor management, mining and global sourcing projects in which time he spent in UAE and the UK.
