Dr Silas K. Mulaudzi has substantial experience in the energy sector (renewable energy, energy efficiency, Just Energy Transition, energy value chains) in government and academic sectors. He has served in management positions at the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, City of Tshwane, University of South Africa, and he occupies a Specialist position responsible for Sustainable Energy at the South African Local Government Association and provide specialist advise and support on municipal power procurement projects, Just Energy Transition, embedded generation, Standard Transfer Specification (STS) Token Identified (TID) rollover prepayment meter reset project, amongst others. He holds PhD in Renewable Energy (Newcastle University, United Kingdom), MSc Environmental Sciences (Wits University, RSA) and BENVSc Hons (University of Venda, RSA). He is a registered Professional Natural Scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat).
