Mpho Mokotedi is part of the SME Development team at FNB and looks after the Enterprise and
Supplier Development Funding portfolio.
She holds and a MBA degree from GIBS as well as a B.Com Honours degree in Financial Economics and
Investment Management and is currently pursuing a MPhil in Development Finance with the
University of Stellenbosch. Through educational, work and entrepreneurial experiences, she has
acquired a keen interest in the transformative impact that the financial services industry has in
emerging markets.
Throughout her career she has built competencies in entrepreneurial and strategic thinking;
leveraging networks; adapting and responding to change; using knowledge and insights to persuade
and influence; as well as brainstorming creative and innovative strategies to optimise economic value.
She is a dealmaker and a dream enabler driven by a passion to apply the transformative power of
financial capital in the South African socio-economic landscape. She believes that Financial Services
Providers have a significant role to play in driving impact investment initiatives that address the socio-
economic challenges that South Africa currently faces.
