Siyabonga Gule started his path from humble beginnings, he is a visionary leader
and entrepreneur who has over 15 years of expertise in diverse industries namely,
the Breweries, Oil & Gas and Logistics. His passion for supply chain management
and strategic sourcing led him to the birth of Beapo (PTY) Ltd which has been
successfully trading for over eight years.
Siya serves as the Chairman of the Board of Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Durban
(EO) as well as a board member of the Joseph Business School Africa (JBSA).
His prior work at Transnet SOC Ltd., where he held the positions of Senior
Process Optimisation Leader and Business Turnaround Project Manager,
sharpened his operational excellence and Lean Six Sigma methodology abilities,
empowering him to effect meaningful change within his areas of influence.
During his tenure at Sasol, Siya was responsible for enhancing operational
efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives. He conducted problem-
solving workshops and facilitated Gemba Walk evaluations. Additionally, he
performed time and capacity studies to determine labor requirements and
developed bills and routings for new internal products. Siya monitored processes
and material flow, implementing corrective measures to address any deviations.
The above roles were a pivot from his initial position at SAB as a Distribution
analyst Engineer, showcasing his fast-tracked and progressive career trajectory.
With an MBA, a PGDip in Business Administration Strategy & Entrepreneurship
and a BSc in Industrial Engineering, Siya has a distinct solutions driven and
process-oriented skillset that he drives through his organisation Beapo. His
business is a disrupter in the Supply Chain industry, its purpose is to unlock the
full value of supply chains through strategic sourcing insights.
