Mr. Sanele Khomo is an experienced SCM and Public Procurement practitioner. He is currently Head of SCM at uMngeni Municipality from being Transversal SCM Policy Specialist at KZN Provincial Treasury. Before that Mr. Khomo was a SCM Policy Development and Training Manager at the KZN Department of transport from Office of Health Standard Compliance as Senior Procurement Practitioner. His career started at the KZN EDTEA as a junior officer from Tertiary and moved to Agribusiness Development Agency where he subsequently joined the KZN Provincial Treasury as the Chief Admin Officer Demand and Acquisitions. He occasionally writes articles for Smart Procurement and at personal capacity on procurement related matters. He is a public speaker, trainer and contributes largely to the procurement space. He is known for his contribution to the Public Procurement Bill, all the way from National Treasury, National Assembly and the NCOP.
