Smart Symposium
Series

Symposiums are targeted 1 day events that hone into specialised SCM topics that are not covered in depth at our conferences. They are structured to attract a diverse audience that may be keen to explore how procurement and supply chain can be a game changer for organisations.

What is
Smart Symposium?

Symposiums are smaller, hands-on events that teach a skill or method.

You will hear a lot about things in your field that will be new to you. These could be new techniques, new types of equipment, unpublished data, or learn from thought-leaders that you may not have previously heard of.

You will get to tap into the research that is being done in your field. Symposiums give you the opportunity to talk to the presenters one-on-one about what they are working on, and they may even give you advice on how to enhance your own work.

You have the opportunity to ask presenters questions about their work and the rationale behind it, which you can’t always do when attending bigger conferences.

Symposium attendance dramatically enhances both your professional and personal development, as well as providing you with tools and skills which you cannot be taught in-house or online.

The focused nature of learning at a symposium allows you to dig deeper with the understanding of your topic of interest.
