Wilfred is currently the manager of tourism development at CapeNature and has previously been responsible for the management of the Public Private Partnerships at De Hoop Nature Reserve. Wilfred has been at CapeNature for 17 years and managed the implementation of various ecofriendly tourism accommodation facilities across the Western Cape, most notably the award-winning development at Kogelberg Nature Reserve.
In 2009 CapeNature signed the first tourism Public Private Partnership in the Western Cape at De Hoop Nature Reserve. The partnership consists of 7 different concession agreements ranging from 20 to 30 years with the option of renewal at the end of the agreements. The partners at De Hoop have established world class facilities that attracts visitors from across the globe
