Riaan Fick serves as the Local Economic Development (LED) Manager at Witzenberg Municipality. He has 16 years’ experience in Local Government, specifically in the field of Local Economic Development. With a strong focus on economic inclusion, business support, investment attraction, and stakeholder collaboration, he has been involved in initiatives aimed at creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, strengthening partnerships, and promoting sustainable local economic growth. His experience includes developing the Municipal LED strategy, policy and bylaw development, skills and enterprise development programmes, international partnerships, supplier & contractor development initiatives, procurement process inputs and execution, business infrastructure development and business dialogues.
