Thandiwe Shema is the Founder and Managing Director of Jalusi Tech, a South African technology company focused on driving digital transformation for small, medium and large enterprises.
She began her career in the financial services sector before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey in 2013 as a business consultant. Through her work with entrepreneurs, she developed a deep passion for supporting SMEs, leading her to build holistic business growth solutions that combine technology, enterprise development and digital innovation.
Thandiwe holds a postgraduate qualification in Business and is currently an MBA candidate. Under her leadership, Jalusi Tech has evolved from a consulting business into a technology company developing innovative solutions, including ERP platforms, enterprise development systems and digital tools that help businesses improve efficiency and achieve sustainable growth.
Her vision is to position Jalusi Tech as the first black woman-owned company in South Africa to develop and operate a world-class data centre, providing secure, locally hosted digital infrastructure for SMEs, corporates and government. She is passionate about creating technology that empowers businesses, drives economic inclusion and contributes to South Africa’s digital future.
