Edith Ngobeni is an experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) professional with over 22 years of experience in the South African public sector, spanning national and provincial government, including specialised experience in municipal SCM support. She currently serves as Director: Municipal Supply Chain Management at Gauteng Provincial Treasury, where she provides strategic and technical support to municipalities on SCM, procurement compliance, governance, and contract management.
Edith holds a National Diploma in Finance and Accounting (Public), a Bachelor of Commerce degree specialising in Strategic Supply Management, an Honours degree in Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Management. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
With a strong passion for public-sector transformation, Edith is committed to strengthening procurement practices, promoting good governance, and contributing to efficient, effective, and accountable public service delivery.
