Itumeleng Mogatusi-Sekgota

Itumeleng Mogatusi is an Executive Advisor and Sustainability Strategist who leads Sustainability Programmes at the UN Global Compact Network South Africa. She works with business to advance responsible business practices across sustainable procurement and value chains, climate and nature action, business and human rights, and decent work and living wages. With over a decade of experience in the mining sector and a technical background in geohydrology, she brings practical and principled insight into Africa’s sustainability risks, opportunities and just  transition. Her work focuses on catalysing collective business action, strengthening resilient, growth and sustainable supply chains. Her expertise also include exploring how sustainable finance can unlock investment, innovation and transformation. She is passionate about advancing business as a force for good, demonstrating how embedding the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles into business practices can contribute to sustainable development, inclusive growth and long-term economic prosperity.
