Miyelani is the Lead Economist for South Africa within Absa’s macroeconomics research team. He has been a professional economist for over 15 years, having joined Absa in 2013. Prior to Absa, Miyelani worked at the National Treasury and at the Bureau for Economic Research. His academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
