Professional Background

I started my professional career in the pre-hospital emergency care setting, having the privilege of making a very personal, positive impact in people’s lives and learning humility through the rich diversity within society. My natural ambition saw me climb the corporate ladder quickly, eventually leading me to create my own business within the value-added services market. It was here that I discovered and honed my entrepreneurial ability, expanding my skillset to include leadership, sales, marketing, IT, people management, and the development of client-focused solutions.

Who Am I?

I have 26 years of experience in executive corporate positions, managing teams of up to 150 staff members. I am an ambitious forward-thinker — self-driven, motivated, and strategically goal-focused. I communicate clearly, set strong expectations, and maintain an open-door approach, regularly checking in to support my team.

I operate well under pressure and am an effective communicator, both publicly and internally. I am passionate about family, innovation, and market-disruptor solutions, and I believe in positive reinforcement as a leadership style. Obstacles, to me, are simply challenges that can be overcome through collaboration. I value loyalty, commitment, and dedication to the solution.

I have been the catalyst for several market disruptors and have created three start-up companies. A major highlight of my recent career was leading the full setup of the infrastructure required to deliver on the ROCKET (Rapid On Call Emergency Transport) promise — enabling more South Africans to access emergency medical helicopter services. I also played a key role in securing significant organisational partnerships and contracts, and in further developing my leadership and coaching abilities to grow my team into a cohesive and highly effective unit.

I encourage positive participation and a solution-driven mindset in all teams I work with. I have a strong understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to adapt them to business needs. I am dynamic, diverse in my approach, and highly adaptable to change. I lead by example, take responsibility for myself and my team, and welcome open interaction, suggestions, and input from everyone I work with. Even in challenging times, I see opportunity.
