Kgalaletso has 25 years’ experience in Retail & Business banking gained at Standard Bank and Absa Bank. His previous roles at Standard Bank included Provincial Director – Northern Cape from 2006 to September 2010. His previous roles at Absa Bank include: – Regional Executive – Eastern Cape, Provincial Head Business Banking, Northwest Province. He has extensive experience in relationship banking, credit and stakeholder engagement.
Kgalaletso is currently the Executive: Enterprise Development, Relationship Banking at Absa. He has a B Comm in Investment Management, Money & Banking from the University of the Free State completed in 1998 and a Postgraduate International Development Programme – Financial Services at Cass Business School in London and Wits Business School completed in 2015.
Kgalaletso served as the Interim Chairperson of the Northwest Housing Corporation Board during the resuscitation of the SOC in 2015. He subsequently served as the Chairperson of the Finance Committee of the entity until October 2018. He also served on the board of the Northwest Development Corporation as the Chairperson of the Finance and Investment Committee from 2015 until October 2018.
