Lara Hodes

After graduating from the University of Cape Town, I began my career at Investec Bank Cape Town as an investment consultant, advising clients on optimal portfolio allocation. I then moved to the institutional stockbroking area, Investec Securities, where I worked for over 7 years, analysing predominantly consumer related industries. Subsequently, I worked as a research analyst in the private equity space and at an international management consultancy where I was responsible for Africa specific research. I returned to Investec at the beginning of 2018 in my current position as Economist.
