National Treasury Leads dialogue 19th Annual Public Sector Supply Chain Summit

The Summit will provide a senior platform for dialogue on the future of public procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing, institutional readiness, leadership, capability and the delivery of greater public value.

Balekile Ngalo, Director: Strategic Procurement, National Treasury, will lead a practical session exploring how procurement can move beyond transactional purchasing towards strategic sourcing that delivers greater value, reduces risk and makes better use of existing spend.

The Summit will also host a Treasury Leaders Dialogue: Public Procurement Reform: Readiness, Leadership and Delivery, bringing together senior representatives from National and Provincial Treasuries to consider the practical implementation of procurement reform.

The dialogue will be moderated by Ronald Mlalazi, President of the African Supply Chain Confederation, with participation from:
