Nawaaz Kalick

Nawaaz is a senior supply chain and procurement leader with a passion to grow the profession. He has >25 years senior management experience in the private sector in various roles including General Manager, Operations Director, Procurement Director, Supply Chain Director. He was a key member of the Nampak Flexible Team that achieved the first Oliver Wight capable Integrated Business Process (IBP) accreditation in Africa; and has served as the Chairperson of the KZN Branch of CIPs Africa from 2012 to 2019. He has an MCIPs and an MBA; and earned a Fellowship from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) in 2016 for his contribution to the profession over the years. Nawaaz was also a Non-Executive Director of the not-for-profit PET Recycling company (PETCO) until November 2021. He is currently a Director at a large multinational Packaging Manufacturer where he is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain function across the Group.
