With an extensive career spanning over 18 years, she has honed her expertise in fostering strategic alliances both within Africa and globally, particularly excelling in business development. While working as a business development Executive at Transnet Engineering her primary focus was to identify and execute robust business development strategies while capitalizing on growth opportunities within the rail transport sector.
Ntombi’s professional journey has been punctuated by remarkable achievements, notably in Kenya, Mozambique, Botswana, and the DRC, where she spearheaded transformative projects enhancing rail capacity and establishing reliable logistics systems across Africa.
She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Wits Business School and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering, a testament to her dedication to both business acumen and technical expertise. She currently is the Business Development Executive at Bidvest International Logistics dedicated to growing the business in end–to-end supply chain offering in Imports and export through air, ocean, road and warehousing solutions for multiple industries such as Automotive, Pharmacal, FMCG and high-tech.
Her leadership style is characterized by customer-centricity, adept problem-solving skills, strategic project management, and a collaborative approach. Beyond her professional career, Ntombi is the Founder of the Phenomenal U Movement (PUM), a non-profit organization empowering youth entrepreneurs.“
