Roshen Pahaladh is the Head of Procurement at Alexforbes, he is a seasoned strategist with several years of Strategic and Operational Management Consulting experience. Roshen holds A BSc Medical Science undergrad degree, an Honors level PDM degree and an MBA, all from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Dealing with Risk is something that Roshen & his team are faced with on a daily basis being the gatekeepers of enabling the execution of Business strategy; given the “new ways of work”, increasing regulatory pressure and the need for trust with the advent of digitization and automation.
There is no magical formula on how to deal with Risk, but Roshen believes that a strong Risk Management Foundation that is based on and aligned to the Strategic direction of the organization is key; as it provides an optimal position to make informed decisions from a plethora of options including on how to best avoid, transfer, reduce and/or accept, manage and master risk.
