Adv. Vhudzisani Maringa is a seasoned procurement, governance, and legal professional with more than 14 years of experience across South Africa’s leading state-owned entities and public institutions. He currently serves as General Manager: Supply Chain Management Governance, Compliance and Performance Monitoring at Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), where he oversees procurement governance, risk management, compliance, and performance assurance.
An admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS), Vhudzisani combines legal expertise with extensive supply chain management experience. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles at Transnet Freight Rail, Transnet National Ports Authority, the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), and Eskom, leading initiatives that strengthen governance, enhance procurement integrity, improve contract management, and drive sustainable value creation.
Vhudzisani holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law from the University of South Africa, where his research focused on corporate governance in state-owned companies and their role in economic growth. His work has consistently centred on ensuring that procurement delivers not only compliance and efficiency but also meaningful socio-economic impact and organizational value.
His contributions to the profession have been recognised through several accolades, including the Inspirational Leadership Award, the Pan African Supply Chain Award for Best Public Sector Project, and recognition as one of the Top 25 SuperLead Leaders of the Year (2025). He is also credited with leading initiatives that achieved sustained reductions in irregular expenditure over multiple consecutive years.
