Alejandro is a sustainability and supply chain expert with extensive experience helping organisations across a wide range of sectors address complex environmental and sustainable sourcing challenges. He specialises in supplier engagement, climate risk, supply chain decarbonisation, sustainable agriculture, and responsible purchasing practices. Over the past decade, he has advised multinational clients, mainly across Europe, North America, and the UK, on developing and implementing strategies that drive both sustainability performance and business value.
As Director for the Sustainable Sourcing practice at SLR Consulting, Alejandro supports organisations in building resilient and responsible supply chains, advancing Scope 3 emissions reduction programmes, and integrating sustainability into procurement and supplier management.
Prior to joining SLR, Alejandro worked for a major commodities trader in Peru’s mining sector. He holds an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and his background is in Industrial Engineering with a focus on supply chain management.
