Dimitri has spent 26 years in the ICT industry, including 22 years specialising in cybersecurity and risk. His professional interests include password security—as a member of Team Hashcat—honeypots, red-team assessments, hardware security, and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
He has spoken numerous times at leading security events, including BSides Cape Town, PasswordsCon Cambridge, and BSides Las Vegas, and has served on the review panel for BSides Athens.
Dimitri is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bitcrack Cyber Security, a South African cybersecurity company. Proudly connected to both South Africa and Greece, to which he makes frequent visits as his second home.
