Dr Ernst van Biljon

Dr Ernst van Biljon is Dean of Research at the IMM Graduate School and Founder and Principal Analyst of the Shockwave Economy Intelligence Platform. He has extensive experience across academia, supply chain management, consulting and technology commercialisation. He previously served at Nelson Mandela University and its predecessor institutions as Professor of Logistics Management, Head of Department, Campus Principal and Executive Dean. His industry experience includes advising organisations on supply chain management, business modelling, process improvement and the commercialisation of technology ventures in South Africa and internationally. His current work focuses on supply chain resilience, disruption, digital transformation and the evolving challenges facing African and global supply chains.
