Dr. Rebecca Setino is a procurement, supply chain, and digital transformation executive with more than 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors. As General Manager: Supply Chain Systems and Data Management at Transnet, she leads initiatives in procurement digitalisation, supply chain data management, and analytics. Throughout her career, she has led procurement transformation initiatives spanning category management, supplier development, governance reforms, and digital enablement. Her recent scholarly research explored the application of machine learning to intermittent demand forecasting, reflecting her passion for leveraging artificial intelligence, digital platforms, data, and analytics to drive resilient and high-performing supply chains. Dr. Setino was named the Smart Procurement Digital Game Changer of the Year 2026.
