Hulisani Basil Mukwevho is a senior procurement and supply chain leader with two decades of experience leading transformation across Africa’s FMCG, manufacturing, and engineering sectors.
He currently serves as Global Procurement Lead for Contract Manufacturing, Governance & Supplier Diversity at PepsiCo Southern Africa. He is a member of PepsiCo EMEA’s digital transformation team and the Global Supplier Performance Management initiatives. His leadership experience spans procurement strategy, multi-market strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, supply-chain resilience, localisation, governance, and capability development across Southern, West, East and Central Africa.
Basil has led deployment of enterprise procurement technologies, including Procure-to-Pay solutions in SAP S4 HANA. His focus extends beyond system implementation to the leadership, organisational capability and behaviour changes required to translate technology investment into sustained adoption and measurable business value.
He leads with purpose and believes in elevating others. He is an ambassador for digitalisation, and his leadership includes a successful deployment of procurement tools and system including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) SAP S4 Hana implementation.
