Vinesh Maharaj

Vinesh is a Director of Smart Manufacturing & Industry for the Middle East Africa Region and has been working with clients in the Energy, Resources, Consumer, Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing industries since 1995. Vinesh is a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors of South Africa (IoDSA). He also serves on the Exco and advises the Board of Directors of the Society for Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics and Computer Engineering (SAIMC). Vinesh has been involved with Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects since the 2006, with the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) using Gensym 2 engine and Advanced Process Control Systems (APC). Most recently Vinesh has been involved in helping clients understand the potential of the various types of AI to help reduce costs and improve efficiencies in their businesses.
