With more than 27 years in the South African public sector, I have obtained vast knowledge in government legislation and the strategic planning process. I have held various leadership positions in different areas of responsibility, including serving as Chief Financial Officer for two departments. I have written and published articles questioning government processes and legislation, as well as High Court judgments and academic interpretation of SCM legislation and practice, which contributed to the amendment of the GEPF rules.
